[Sample Data] Indoor Sunlight Resilience (Window-sideEnvironment)

Eliminate 3D sensing disruptions caused by indoor sunlight. Experience the immunity of TOPPAN ToF sensors to harsh afternoon sun and high-contrast lighting near windows.

Sensing Technology for Solving Real-World Challenges

Even in indoor logistics or factory environments, intense sunlight streaming through windows, especially the harsh afternoon sun—can severely disrupt 3D sensing performance. Standard sensors often suffer from data loss or “white-out” in these high-contrast lighting conditions.
This Sample Data demonstrates how TOPPAN ToF technology overcomes these environmental hurdles.
In this dataset, we simultaneously captured a scene featuring both high-intensity sunlit areas and deep shadows.
By evaluating the depth images, you will notice no discrepancy in distance data between the sun-drenched and shadowed regions. If you are struggling with fluctuating light levels or the challenges of window-side measurement, senSPureTM provides the Ambient Light Tolerance (up to 100,000 lx) required for stable operations.
