The TPHT4040 is a high-performance 3D time-of-flight (ToF) sensor equipped with TOPPAN’s proprietary hybrid ToFTM technology. Fabricated with a back-illuminated CMOS process, it ensures high sensitivity in the near-infrared (NIR) region.
The hybrid ToFTM technology enables reliable operation even under intense sunlight of up to 100,000 lx, delivering accurate depth measurement without motion artifacts and blur.
For enhanced performance in challenging environments, the sensor supports a 4x4 binning mode [160 (H) x 120 (V)], which significantly improves the signal-to-noise ratio for long-range or low-light detection. Additionally, it supports high-speed imaging up to 120 fps and HDR operation, featuring a MIPI CSI-2 interface for seamless integration with back-end SoCs.
